Memphit Fur Meet - Labor Day Weekend, 2012 - Memphis, TN

Artists wanted

I need artists for the art track. Skill level is not an issue-In fact I would like to see some beginning artists discuss their experences. You can do whatever you like.

What do you need for the art

What do you need for the art track? I've been a panelist before on the fursuit track, some years ago, and I have recently started a webcomic. However, I'm still a beginning artist, the webcomic mostly exists because I'm also the writer and gave up hoping for someone to be the artist, so I had to become that myself. I run a self-employment business (that is not the comic) and have way more wisdom than ability :)

Do you need panelists of some sort, or ideas for panels?

I could do.

I am the same as the deviantArt Guy. I don't what one does at an art track.   I am not not magnificent, but I would say I make a decent mid-level guy.

 Dancing the Waltz. Join me?

Interested...

Hi, I'm Wielder, but those few who know me probably know me better as shadowraine from DeviantART.

What does doing the Art Track entail?  Is this kind of like a how-to seminar or what?

Sorry if I seem a little bit dumb, but this is going to be my first con, so I don't really know a lot about what goes on.  However, if I can help out, I'll gladly do it!

Hey!

I know you, or at least your art! Will you be at MFM 2008?

If I'm not too busy...

with my security duties I'll join in the fray. :D

 But uh.. >.>

<.<

What do I get outta it? :o

What are you looking for?

I've not sat on a panel or anything like that, I've taught a few SCA classes, and my art experiences are wide ranged.

The artists and the student stand before a large rock. "Within this rock is a statue of an elephant, just chisel away everything that isn't an elephant," the artist says. Three days later the artist returns to the student, and a pile of gravel. Says the student, "guess there wasn't an elephant in there after all."

Sounds like fun. :D As long

Sounds like fun. :D As long as my new place of work does not interfere (and make me work all that weekend) I would like to join in.
